Cornerstone of Hope brought HOPE to the community for Christmas 2021 with its 2nd Annual Grieve With Hope Virtual Christmas Concert. This free virtual music event premiered live on the organization’s Facebook and YouTube channels at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2021, with a reprise on Sunday, December 26, 2021 also at 7 p.m. The concert offered more than thirty minutes of uplifting songs and encouraging messages for viewers to enjoy from the comfort and safety of their home.
The concert included performances from nationally and internationally recognized artists including 10,000 Maniacs and singer/songwriter, Chris Trapper; Columbus-based worship artist, Seph Schlueter; locally known artist Taylor Tripodi; NYC singer/songwriter, Alex Coe; and International Barbershop Quartet Champions, Max Q. Many of the artists performing have a special connection with Cornerstone of Hope’s vision of “Creating a World Where No Grieving Person Journeys Alone” through their own personal stories of loss.
The money raised from the concert went directly to serving clients at its three locations in Ohio: Cleveland, Columbus and Lima. Cornerstone of Hope provides counseling support via in-person and Telehealth counseling sessions, support groups, grief camps for children, and grief education and training.
