Since the COVID pandemic 5 years ago, how we process grief in this country has changed. Two things are needed to effectively move through the bereavement process: saying goodbye to a loved one and having a funeral to receive community support. Those tow things were lost for several years during the covid period, and it changed how we mourn today. This program will look at grief in a post-covid society, how it affects funeral directors, and how the collective trauma of a pandemic, natural disaster, school shooting, etc affects families and communities.

2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) offered to social workers, counselors, nurses, and funeral directors.
