Many of us are wired to fix problems when something is broken—whether it’s a washing machine, a car, or even strained relationships. Grief, however, is not something that can be fixed; it is something that must be experienced and supported. When we see someone we care about in pain, it is natural to want to take that pain away. This program will explore practical ways helping professionals can offer meaningful support to those who are grieving, learning how to walk alongside them without feeling the pressure to “fix” their grief.

2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) offered to social workers, counselors, nurses, and funeral directors.
