Grief is a deeply personal experience, and one of the most significant factors that shapes how we grieve is age. Children, teens, and adults often process loss in very different ways. In addition, our grief evolves as we move through different stages of life. For example, a child who loses a parent may continue to grieve that loss in new ways as they grow and encounter life milestones without that loved one. This program will explore how grief changes over time and how individuals revisit and process loss throughout the various seasons of life.

2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) offered to social workers, counselors, nurses, and funeral directors.
