Understanding Complex Trauma Due to Death by Suicide, Homicide, and Accidental Overdose
Join us for a day of understanding complex trauma from professionals in the field, as well as survivors, due to death by suicide, homicide, and accidental overdose. Presenters will address each of the loss areas and speak about the most current statistics and clinical grief interventions. Personal stories from a panel of survivors in each type of loss will follow. This unique day, hearing both from clinicians and survivors, is sure to inspire you about the resilience of the human spirit in the face of devastating loss.
Cost: Free to attend but registration is required
Continuing Education: 3 CEUs offered to counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and nurses. 6 CEs are available for funeral directors.
